The first step to salvation is to realize that you are a sinner:
Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Next, you must know that because of sin there must be a price paid:
Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
This price can be paid by you with an eternity in Hell:
Revelation 21:8 (KJV) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with
fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Or you can accept the price that Jesus paid for you sin:
Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
Receiving eternal salvation is easy
Romans 10:9-13 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith,
Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no
difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich
unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of
the Lord shall be saved.
- Repent. Come into agreement with God regarding your sin and admit your sin to Him.
- Turn from your sin.
- Believe. Put your trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone to pay your sin debt.
- He paid the price on Calvary; you only need to trust him.
- Call on His name
- Call out to him in prayer, ask Him to forgive your sins and save you, trust him to do so.
If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, take time right now to pray, confessing your sin and asking Him to come into your heart and save you.
When you accept Jesus, He is faithful to do what He said He would – He forgives you and saves you.
1 John 5:13 (KJV) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
